- In 2001 I started a consulting company, which does training for TAFE, BECNSW, the CDC, CTC and other companies on contract. This consulting company has taken me around the world as a coach, consultant and trainer. I continue to do consulting work on a part time basis. - In my capacity as an executive coach, and management consultant I am required to assist key and senior leaders in corporations and not for profit organizations. The portfolio of clients ranges across: investment, property development, real estate, human resources, mechanical repair, tourism, placement organizations, missions organizations, bush fire protection, import and export businesses. I have enjoyed assisting companies with retirement planning, divisional mergers, strategic planning, succession planning, forecasting, budgeting and resource allocation.

- In 1993 my wife and I started a publishing company called Storm Harvest, which merged with another publishing company (Peacemakers) in Cootamundra in 1999. I became the Managing Director of the joint company in 2001, and remain to this day (annual turnover $350,000). www.storm-harvest.asn.au

- In that role I oversee an international organization with offices in India, Philippines, South Africa, Missouri, London and Cootamundra. We have 65 paid staff, six offices, numerous assets that need to be maintained and serviced. The head of accounting, administration, HR, travel and production are all direct reports to me.

Green Tree Indigenous Food Gardens

- We were involved in a partnership tourism enterprise called Green Tree Indigenous Food Gardens, based in Wallendbeen, NSW. This venture is a tourist attraction based on bush foods and survival skills. We sold our interests in it in 2004.

- I was responsible for product development, advertising, production of retail product, horticulture and planting. We developed the largest collection of edible food species in Australia.

Cootamundra Development Corporation
- Positions: Center manager, Training Manager

- During my tenure with the CDC I held both positions of Centre Manager and Training Co-ordinator. The CDC was responsible to the Cootamundra Shire Council for Development and to a board for overall business services to the region. I promoted business training and ran a successful three year program doing business mentoring.

- During my tenure with the BEC SWS I was the business facilitator, a role which included initial business assistance, grant funding applications, business advice, delivery of the Small Business Development program, benchmarking, financial accounting and filling in for the center manager when she was on leave.

- As an internal auditor for Canon Australia my work included: Internal audit project work, analytical reviews, statistical analysis, Computer Aided Audit Techniques including the use of mainframe interrogation tools, Risk analysis. I was on the team of three men who implemented the Quality Assurance program and helped gain ISO 9002 certification. Our audits included compliance, QA, financial, operational, investigative and fraud work, networks and IT audits.

- I was the youngest AFC in the chain, and oversaw Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, Balance sheet schedules, General Ledger, Budget preparation and overall financial management.
