Spiritual History

Beginnings

The first church I belonged to, St George’s Anglican Life Centre in Pearce ACT experienced revival among the youth in 1988-89. Our pastor Dr. Rev Chris Simon (now Dean of Southern Cross Bible College – AoG) brought in many great teachers and pastors to this church of about 350-450 members. I began to manifest the gifts of prophecy, word of knowledge, word of wisdom and discernment. I joined the youth music team, got involved in “Youth Alive”, served in a Red Cross soup kitchen and we did evangelistic outreach in regional towns and cities.

Winkey Pratney deeply affected my path because he had a passion for young people, and was in touch with our culture. Kerry Medway spent countless hours teaching us about the 1 Corinthian 12 gifts, and mentored me in the prophetic initially.

Team Leadership

In 1993 I moved to Sydney and married Kellie, my wife now of fourteen years. We joined St Marks Anglican Church in Northbridge, NSW under Dr. Rev John Davies (now retired). I joined the music team, becoming worship leader and later the prophetic ministry team – finally co-leading both. In October, 1994 the “Toronto Blessing” hit our church of 80 members and we became a source, or training center. We ministered to 15,000 people in 18 months! This was certainly an accelerated time of learning.

During that time I accurately predicted the end of a drought in Australia with a certain sign in a certain place (the filling of the inland salt flat Lake Ayer by a flood). My pastor then recognised a higher calling to the prophetic, and saw that I got exposure personally and through materials to Paul Cain, Mike Bickle, Rock Joyner, Bob Jones, David Pytches, John Sandford, Michael Green and others.

Our own ministry begins

In 1995 we established Storm Harvest Ministries, to collect and publish prophetic material in Australia and Oceania.

Five fold recognition

In 1997 we moved to Telopea Church of Christ, headed up first by Rev. Rick Lewis and then Ps. David Wilson. The governance of that church was congregational, through 12 elected elders. We had about 700 members and five staff. The pastors immediately recognised me as a prophet and asked me to participate in the leadership of the church.

Once again I took up the role of worship leader for 2 years, as well as being an advisor to the elders board and pastors. This was a healthy learning environment for 2 years until the Lord called us to move to Cootamundra.

Growth in prophetics

1998 during an extended time of prayer and fasting the Lord revealed the Columbine High School shooting, the collapse of a Russian Oil Giant and the burning of a UCLA campus all of which came to pass within 12 months.

In 1999 our ministry (Storm Harvest) merged with another (Peacemakers) who were the publishers for Keith Green, Leonard Ravenhill, Don Fortune and David Wilkerson in our region. This ministry was headed up by Ps. Graham Jones at the time. They were based in Cootamundra, NSW. Our family relocated to this small country town.

In 2000, Rick Joyner asked me to join the Round Table in Nashville, TN where Melody Green laid hands on me and imparted a great grace in music and the prophetic. So did James Ryle, Ray Hughes and Dave Markee.

Life since then

We started a home group that grew into a church, called Adullam Christian Fellowship. I was the founding pastor from 1998 to 2000. I installed two pastors, Brian Grewal and Mario Liu, and after their tenure I took the leadership reigns again in 2004.

I have led Storm Harvest/Peacemakers since 2001 as the managing director. It has grown to become an international ministry organization with offices in India, Philippines, South Africa, Missouri, London and Cootamundra. I usually travel 100-160,000km per year on ministry and mission. Our Australian turnover is $350,000 and we have four staff. Internationally we have 65 pastors in the field (in India and Zimbabwe). Our web site www.storm-harvest.asn.au has 62,000 visitors a year.

In 2000 I started a Ministry Training College called the Davidic School of Ministry. Initially it was for weekend intensives, and to give our mentorees a place to minister. But the curriculum was adopted by a Bible College in India, and then another in Zambia. It is now a certified ACOM college and produces a Certificate IV in Christian Ministry. www.davidicschool.org or www.storm-harvest.asn.au/davidicschool/
We have 65 enrolled students doing a one year, full time Certificate IV in Christian Ministry. That college has physical centers in Zambia and Andra Pradesh India. The remainder study online (distance).

In 2004 I became ordained as a minister through the Crosslink Network.

In 2005 during meetings in Mobile AL the Lord showed me TC Katrina and the flooding in New Orleans, which came to pass within 9 weeks. That was exciting because on the return visit in 2006 I found that prophecy had affected the community down there.
